Steve the Roman!!!!
Well, yes most of you were right.... Steve is going as a Roman!!! Costume all made now apart from the laurel wreath! I made poor Steve try on the costume and then stand on a stool in the foyer of the Library at lunch time today so we could check the length and then took photo's!!!
Luckily he found all of this hilarious too, I just hope he isn't too cold in it (I couldn't talk him into a longer toga, he wants to show off his legs!!!!)

Tell Steve I hope he is going to wear his long Johns with this as he may catch pneumonia otherwise!! Is he going to have a real laurel wreath??
Steve looks like he is a lot of fun. Good for him getting into the spirit of the night.
You've done a good job of the toga.
Not long now and I will be arriving!

The costume looks fab!!I love costume parties....
The funny thing is I'm always browsing the seventh heaven website!! And, I don't even have any room for a new bed! I just like looking at them all!!! Weird or what? Isn't that where your mum got her bed from, didn't you say? I'd love to see a photo of her bed!! x
Haha! What a great name for a theme party!! We'll have to persuade your mum to post some piccies of her bed....
Wow what a splendid Roman he makes!
I love costume parties, but I always end up as a "1950's housewife", it's the only costume I have (and it isn't even a costume it's just a dress with a pinny and some rollers in my hair! rubbish really.

Tell Steve I want to see a photo of him in full regalia before he gets too drunk.apparently the weather is going to be better this weekend as I'm sure ancient Romans didnt have spotty umbrellas.
he is a brave man!
He looks very Roman indeed! You did a great job on the costume.
And do we get to see the toga without the trousers?
